Bardic Symphony — a site from Figma and a channel audit
A site built directly from the client's Figma file, with exact coordinates instead of eyeballing. Plus a fourteen-section YouTube channel audit.
The problem
The client had a finished design in Figma and a channel that had stalled. He needed both: a site built exactly as designed, and an explanation of why the channel was not growing despite regular uploads.
Designers rarely get back a site that looks like their file. They usually get something approximate — spacing drifts, sizes get rounded, colours get lost somewhere between tools.
What we did
- Pulled exact coordinates, sizes, colours, fonts and all copy straight from the
.figdocument instead of estimating from a screenshot - Took the original full-resolution images from the same file
- Translated Figma font sizes into
vwunits withclamp(), so the design scales instead of breaking - Built per-character sub-pages with a custom shader background
- Produced a fourteen-section channel audit: snapshot, content trend, SEO and search testing, a comparison against fifteen competitors, the top five problems with an estimated cost, quick wins, a 30 and 90 day plan, ten title proposals, a thumbnail brief, cross-promotion, monetisation and a list of unknowns
Result
A site the designer recognises as his own work, and a written finding about the channel with measurable targets instead of generic advice.
This is also why we work with design studios: when someone brings a finished design, our job is to build it exactly, not to "improve" it along the way.
Next step
If you have a finished design and need someone to build it without improvising — that is work we do regularly.
