Most hosting makes automatic backups. We go a step further — we keep backups in two separate locations and regularly test a restore to make sure the copy actually works.
A copy is made every day, and once a month we actually restore it into an isolated environment. One location is not a backup, it's a hope.

After launch we take over the technical side, so you don't have to think about servers, updates and backups. We host and maintain WordPress sites too; if a site doesn't need to be WordPress, we suggest moving it to static, which means less monthly maintenance.

How much does a website cost?
It depends on scope: the number of pages, languages and features the site needs. After a short call you get a written proposal with price and deadline, before any work starts.
How long does it take to build a website?
A simple site of up to four pages takes seven to ten days, a business site of up to ten pages three to four weeks, and a custom site of up to twenty pages five to seven weeks. The clock starts when your text and photos arrive.
Is hosting included with the website?
It can be. We host the sites we build on our own infrastructure, with an SSL certificate, uptime monitoring and backups in two locations. If you prefer your own hosting, you get deployment instructions.
Do you maintain the site after launch?
Yes. Maintenance covers backups, monitoring, security updates, small content changes and technical support. We host and maintain WordPress sites too.
Do you back up the website?
Every day, to two physically separate locations. Once a month we actually restore a backup into an isolated environment and check that the site works.
What happens if the site goes down?
Uptime monitoring alerts us within minutes. For a static site, recovery means restoring files from backup, which takes minutes rather than hours. You get a message explaining what happened and what we did.
Do you redesign existing websites?
Yes. For LD-TEC we replaced an attacked Joomla site with a new static one with no database.
Do you optimise websites for Google?
Yes, the basics are part of every build: a unique title and description per page, heading structure, a sitemap, schema markup, optimised images and fast loading. After launch we submit the site to Google Search Console.
